🎉 Our Section Members’ Achievements Throughout the Year

The SPE Northern Iraq Section proudly celebrates Srwa Salam Ali, a 4th-year Petroleum Engineering student at Koya University, for her outstanding achievement at OPES 2024 in Muscat! 🇴🇲

She was the only representative from Kurdistan and one of just 10 students from MENA selected for the SPE Regional Student Paper Contest, where she presented her research on "Effects of Corn Fiber Additive on Water-Based Mud Filtration Properties." 🔬 Supervised by Eng. Mohammed Jamal, her work stood out among thousands of applicants.

Through her participation, Srwa gained invaluable experience, expanded her professional network, and showcased Kurdistan’s emerging talent on a global stage. Her inspiring motto:
