📅 Our Section Members’ Achievements Throughout the Year:

Roman Mohammed, a Petroleum Engineering graduate from the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) and a dedicated member of the SPE Northern Iraq Section, proudly represented the Middle East and North Africa at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Asia in Malaysia. Selected as one of only 27 students worldwide, he showcased his exceptional skills by securing second place in the presentation competition with his team. 🏆

During the conference, Roman gained valuable insights into emerging oil and gas technologies and had the opportunity to connect with influential industry leaders, including Datuk Zulkifli, Executive Vice President & CEO Upstream of PETRONAS, and Alex Martinez, Chair of OTC Asia 2024. 🤝
